Happy Birthday, Dad :)

He's a phone call away when my car broke down, he struggled (and still struggling hard) just to make sure we're living good, and his prayers are the key to my success. May Allah bless your good deeds, grant you wealth & great health and bestow His best blessings to you in the world as well as hereafter. Ameen.

It's a dream come true. Alhamdulillah :)

I was walking together (and chatting) with my friend after lunch a few days ago and she said this;

Mase kecik2 dulu tak pernah pun terfikir nak jadi Engineer. Bile Cikgu tanye nak jadi ape, yg paling slalu jawab - Cikgu, Doktor, Polis. Mane tau Engineer tu ape.

I just kept quiet - because I always wanted to be who I am today ever since I was 7.

It's true. I didn't merely making it up, you know. Heheheh.. First choice - Scientist. I may not be one BUT being involved with several research works is really close to a Scientist, ain't it? ;) Choice #2 - Jurutera. Bilingual spotted in my report card! Hehe. I just love how I answered my teacher's question and she actually wrote what was said out of my mouth! :D

I admire the young me. She knew what she wanted to be in the next 16 years. She could actually see what she's gonna be like in the future. Kudos little girl! *pat pat on the back* :)

I'm currently attached to a Multinational Company and involved with a few research studies in parallel. If we look back to my answer which was given 19 years ago - it's a combination of choice #1 and #2. Guess I shall thank the 7-year old Nadira. She already set her goals when she was 7 and it's a dream come true. Alhamdulillah. All praise be to Allah :)

I keep reading this post over and over again but never did leave anything. it has been 3 years and i could still feel the tears. thank you very much for this special post on my graduation. danke *hugs* i do not wish to turn back time because it was torturing (study = torture ye!:p) but somehow i miss the times we used to have; latenight movie to buka puasa at fish & co. sampai high because of the bottomless drink, enjoying yong tau foo while u watched friends. i dearly miss all those.

Kadang-kadang, kita sibuk nak ambil hati orang tapi sering terlupa untuk menjaga hati Allah. Selalu juga kita risau kalau orang tak sukakan kita tapi tak pernah takut kalau apa yang kita lakukan itu tidak disukai Allah. Satu hari nanti pasti kita akan kembali kepadaNya.
